Project Marilyn joins with HopeLink for Neighbor Day 2021

On Saturday, November 6th, we were fortunate to join HopeLink of Southern Nevada and The City of Henderson at their Neighbor Day. This day concluded #HopeWeek2021.

The event was held from noon – 4:00 pm at Morrell Park in the City of Henderson.

A dynamic group of resources from the community were onsite to provide assistance and information.

Some of the services provided were from:

Three Square
RTC
City of Henderson Police
Desert Winds Hospital
Lighthouse of Restoration
One Stop Career Center

We were able to distribute over 200 period bags to members of the community as well as learn more about some amazing organizations and nonprofits whose goal is to better the community that we all call home.

Thank you to our #PeriodPosse who helped prepare and volunteer for the day. Special shout out to HopeLink and The City of Henderson for including us in your event. We are truly better when we work together.
